my white clothes turned grey, what do i do?!?

1) dark fluff from the dark clothes stuck to the white clothes (fix: lint brush),
2) dye from the dark clothes runs into the whites (fix: bleach, preferably oxygen bleach it's more gently on both you and your clothes but chlorine will work too if you're willing to take the risk to your endocrine system). You can also get dye run remover from the supermarket - it's not a bleach it acts to remove excess dye from clothing.

Put the whites back in the washer with a scoop of Tide with Bleach. If you don't have "Tide with Bleach" and can't get some, then use your regular detergent and add about 3/4 cup chlorine bleach. Make sure the water is turned to Warm. Turn the washer on and let it get started and run for a few minutes so the water, bleach and detergent gets mixed up well with the clothes. Then turn the washer off for at least an hour. (If you have a Soak cycle, turn it to that). After it has soaked for an hour or two or three, turn it back on and let it run through the rest of the cycles and all the gray should be out.
